Our mission
Our team consists of experienced professionals in the USA and UK led by Douglas Haan.
Haan is a multi-corporate founder and financial advisor with over 20 years of experience serving HNW individuals and businesses. He manages his own alternative investment portfolios, and previously worked at UBS and other broker-dealer firms (Finra CRD #5048516).
He began registering domains in 1998 and today oversees a curated portfolio of over 900 domains, some dating back to 1991, and has helped entrepreneurs, operators, and investors secure category-defining names since '98.
His background also spans fundraising, and business development in for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He holds a BA from Calvin University and attended graduate management studies at Aquinas College.
As principal of HaanBrands.com, he sees domains as long-term, institutional-quality assets — selectively acquired, patiently held, and strategically deployed.
